SLOTH BEAR

Tigers may be foremost in your sights on an Indian safari, but it’s worth giving that ‘shadow’ in the woods a second glance – it could be the secretive sloth bear. A lack of front teeth enables this engaging species to suck up its favourite delicacy – termites. Its also partial to fruit and the honey from wild bee hives.
