FIN WHALE

Supercharged cetaceans, fin whales can cruise at 40km per hour. With luck you’ll glimpse their distinctive asymmetrical colour pattern – white on the right side of the lower jaw, dark on the left. Growing to lengths of between 19 and 27m and weighing up to 75 tons, Balaenoptera physalus has an estimated global population of around 55,000.
