BLUE WHALE

Compared to the fin whale, the second largest cetacean, the blue whale has a taller, thicker spout and less pointed snout. Its mottled flanks reflect the sea and sky, giving rise to its common name. Blue whales can reach lengths of 21-34m and weigh up to 200 tons.
